I am revving, ready to start the race to begin my own business.
I know I have the personal experience, talents, skill and knowledge to turn my dream into a reality. I have replayed the different scenarios over and over in my mind. I know that this business opportunity is real. I am rearing to go because it is in line with my interests.
I have gone through my checklist.
I have ensured that I have sizeable savings to take me through the dry spells.
I have a ready stream of clients ready for my services.
I have weighed the business opportunity against my current income streams.
This new opportunity is in line with my ethics and moral code.
I have been true to myself; and know my strengths and weaknesses.
I have a back up option although to be honest failure is not an option, I am determined to succeed.
I am confident that my services will fulfill my customers’ needs, I know their personal tastes and preferences. I have surveyed the marketand I know my competitors through and through.
I have put on my best entrepreneurship ‘race shoes’. With integrity I will run this race.
I am prepared to meet the several challenges along the way; managing my money and resources, great competition and changing patterns of my clientele, laws and regulations that I need to adhere to along the way, finding the right staff, several uncertainties, managing problems and risks that I need to solve and mitigate along the way.
‘On my marks, get ready set go!!!’ I have heard the start gun…. I have began the entrepreneurship race.
One week to the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon, meet me at the starting line if God wills, an awesome weekend to all!
