‘My Venture, My Pride’: The Joys of being an Entrepreneur

I am an entrepreneur some define me as-
‘Someone who exercises initiative by organizing a venture to take benefit of an opportunity and, as the decision maker, decides what, how, and how much of a good or service will be produced.’

I develop businesses from scratch and call them mine.

It all begun as an idea spun in my mind five years ago, today the idea is my reality, ‘My venture, my pride. My business.’

Although the beginning  was tough, constantly checking whether I was on track. Like the Olympics champion, today the sweet victory as an entrepreneur is all mine.

To me no two days are the same, my venture, my pride.
With immense satisfaction, I have something that I call my own.
I have freedom to work from wherever and at whatever time, only I hold  the planner of my day, my month, my year, my time.
I can be whoever I want to be. Venture into anything that I wish to as long as that something, something resonates with my values.
I see you turning green from the other side, do you sometimes wish you were me?
I am constantly learning and  developing myself. No two days of mine are the same because of my venture, my pride.
Only I hold the limit of how much I make and how much I can give back to the community I serve.
I love my boss, daaamn she is me.
So many joys of being an entrepreneur, I could not describe them all in one random  blog post.
Have a lovely weekend, ‘Wacha niKwambie’ blog readers, keep it here as we navigate the challenges that many entrepreneurs face and how to mitigate them.

Special note:
A special wish to the Kenyan Olympics team, may it  bring home from Rio as many medals as possible.
