It has been a roller coaster of a year, with the highs being really high and the lows hitting rock bottom too, but whatever the type of weather, we learned how to soar with the eagles in matters Wellness.

The year began on a high note with a focus on the year’s theme, “It is time to soar with the eagles” and setting personal goals.

This year, “Wacha niKwambie” blog went through a plethora of focus areas in matters Wellness and Inspiration. From matters care of children to matters of the heart, soaring in healthy eating, how to deal with personal financial distress, etiquette and personal grooming, our annual focus area “Operation Pepesha Moto”  on sexual wellness, coping with grief – life must go on, among many  many more. Please take the time during this holiday season, to rest and rejuvenate  for 2019 by going through our past articles, there is indeed something for every one.

This year, we had the privilege of interviewing and engaging leading experts and professionals in the Kenyan space on different matters that contribute to our Wellness. William Avedi , a Customer Service Executive on Customer Service Excellence, Kepha Nyanumba – Consultant Nutritionist AAR Group, Trizzer Kimani – Managing Director Nani Employee Leasing Company, Wanjiru Catherine – CEO and Founder Saffara Limited, Thrity Engineer of Thrity Engineer Consulting and Beverly Mawia a budding entrepreneur of African Yuva. So much to enrichen ourselves from the perspectives shared by this phenomenal Kenyans, go ahead and scroll this blog for their stories if you have not done so already.

In 4th April 2018, Wacha niKwambie blog Kenya was nominated for the Best Lifestyle Blog in the annual (Bloggers Association of Kenya)  BAKE Awards, and though we have not yet won the coveted award we remain committed to offering our readers far and wide quality content on matters Lifestyle all with a Kenyan flair. The nomination was an encouragement to the blog to keep on doing what it enjoys doing the best and an affirmation that we are indeed one of the best five lifestyle blogs in Kenya.

As we come to the end of the year, we want to thank you our esteemed reader for the support that you have given us and our guest contributors that have made 2018 happen. The blog is because of you.

Again an appeal that if you have found our content helpful, spread the good tidings and tell your friends, family and loved ones about our blog and do drop us a line.

Kwambie Nyambane is a Sales Force Effectiveness Manager in a leading bank in Kenya 'by day', a passionate inspirational blogger 'by night'; and a wellness enthusiast championing healthy lifestyle choices. Food Science and Post -Harvest Technology graduate of the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya, holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi.
