The nominees for the BAKE Awards 2019 have been announced.
The nominees’ announcement also coincides with the launch of the voting phase. Voting began on 7th May 2019 and will close on 30th May 2019 which will culminate in the awarding of winners at a gala event on the 8th June 2019.

To vote in the BAKE Awards 2019, you will need to visit https://vote.bakeawards.co.ke/vote. To vote for us please vote, www.wachanikwambie.com, Category 19 c, “Best Lifestyle Blog”. Voting will be limited to one vote per person and an SMS verification code will be sent once a vote has been completed.

This year’s competition began on February 12th, 2019, where BAKE accepted submissions in 23 categories. Thereafter, a panel of judges selected the best 5 nominees from the successful submissions in each category as well as the Blog of the year category.

The BAKE Awards, since its inception in 2012, has recognized and awarded the best in Kenyan blogging, in different categories, every year. It is organized by the Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE), an organization that promotes online content creation and free expression in Kenya.

Kwambie Nyambane is a Sales Force Effectiveness Manager in a leading bank in Kenya 'by day', a passionate inspirational blogger 'by night'; and a wellness enthusiast championing healthy lifestyle choices. The founder and lead writer of this blog is a Bsc. Food Science and Post -Harvest Technology graduate of the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya, holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi. Kwambie is a member of Bloggers Association of Kenya. She believes in taking life with a big spoon, seeing the cup always as half full, and enjoying the scenery in this journey called life. Kwambie is daughter to Lilly Moraa and James Nyambane, mother to one beloved son nicknamed "The Champ"; sister to Marci and beloved auntie to the A & Z girls.
