NK Body Butter is a personal care product made in Kenya. It is made up of three natural ingredients; shea butter, coconut oil and olive oil.

Shea butter is fat that’s extracted from the nuts of the shea tree. It is solid at warm temperatures and has an off-white or ivory color. Shea trees are native to West Africa, and most shea butter still comes from that region. Shea butter has been used as a cosmetic ingredient for centuries. Its high concentration of vitamins and fatty acids combined with its easy-to-spread consistency make it a great product for smoothing, soothing, and conditioning your skin. Shea butter is also known to have anti-inflammatory, healing and anti-aging properties.

Coconut oil, or copra oil, is an edible oil extracted from the kernel or meat of mature coconuts harvested from the coconut palm. Coconut oil is an effective moisturizer for skin and hair.
Olive oil is extracted from the olive fruit. It moisturises the skin and improves skin health. Olive oil also has antioxidant properties and is rich in vitamins which keeps hair and skin healthy. It also keeps hair healthy.

NK Body Butter is packaged in durable and portable containers.
It comes in three different sizes;

Price

60 grams

100 grams

200 grams
Kshs. 900

It is also available in the following scents;

 • Natural scent that is unscented
 • Vanilla
 • Sweet orange
 • Peppermint

I got to sample the unscented product on my son and I’s skin and hair; the cream has a soft and smooth consistency. When applied on the skin it literally melts and is absorbed into the skin. One does not need much of this cream to use as a small portion is enough for full body use. The cream has a lasting effect for around twelve hours, sufficient for one to go around their errands and still have good looking skin. NK Body Butter leaves ones skin feeling soft and supple.

Over a period of consistent usage of one month, our skin became petal soft. We also used it on our natural hair and the hair was softer and easier to manage and style. Because it is made of absolutely natural mother nature friendly products I am confident of no harmful effect to my son and I’s skin and hair after using NK Body Butter.
